Transitour Tutorial 4: How to Create and Manage Quotes

In Tutorial 4 of the Transitour video guide series, we take a closer look at Quotes: how to review existing quotations, create a new one and manage the information needed before a transport request becomes confirmed work.

Transitour is designed to connect quoting with the wider transport operation, helping coach, bus and passenger transport operators keep commercial and operational information organised in the same system.

What you will learn in the Transitour Quotes tutorial

The tutorial starts with the Quotes overview, where you can see your quotation activity and use statuses and filters to find the opportunities you need to review.

You will then see how to create a new quote and add the information required for the service, including:

  • Customer and contract details
  • Service and vehicle requirements
  • Travel dates and passenger information
  • Return journeys and additional services
  • Pickup and destination points
  • Additional stops and route information

Quote tracking helps teams follow commercial opportunities before they become confirmed bookings.

Review pricing and manage the quote

Once the journey details have been entered, the tutorial shows how to review the quotation, including its pricing, taxes, subtotal and total.

You will also see the main actions available once a quote has been created, such as editing it, previewing the PDF, sending it to the customer and recording whether it has been accepted or rejected.

This gives the team a clearer view of which quotations are still being prepared, which have already been sent and which opportunities are moving towards confirmation.
